What do SwimFresh Stabilised Chlorine granules do?

Specially formulated for use in all types of swimming pools and hot tubs, SwimFresh Chlorine Granules are highly effective in killing bacteria and other potentially harmful organisms. They dissolve rapidly and have a minimal impact on the pH balance.

How do SwimFresh Stabilised Chlorine granules work?

Their main job is to sanitise water and make it safe for us to bathe or swim in.  A chemical reaction kills bacteria when the Granules enter the water, but we won’t bore you with that!  Suffice to say that as soon as the granules enter the water they are working to keep you safe!

Why should I choose SwimFresh Stabilised Chlorine granules?

Using a granulated chlorine is one of the quickest and easiest ways to get that all-important chlorine into your pool or spa water.  As SwimFresh Granules are stabilised, chlorine loss to sunlight is minimal .

What precautions should I take when using SwimFresh Stabilised Chlorine granules?

Be sure to wear gloves when handling SwimFresh Stabilised Chlorine granules as any Chlorine product can be an irritant when handled directly . Please ensure that you are testing your pool or spa water regularly with water testing strips to ensure that it is correctly balanced and has the appropriate levels of chlorine. If you are at all unsure please give us a call.  You can also bring a sample of your spa or pool water into the shop for testing.

Water management is key!  Don’t forget if your pH isn’t balanced your chlorine can’t work properly!  If you want to be even more accurate with your water management then we recommend using a Rainbow Lifeguard Testing kit. Don’t forget to shock your water with Fi-Clor’s Non Chlorine Shock.
