Our experts say...

We recommend having two sets of filters so that you can leave the filter that you have cleaned to dry before returning it to your spa.  This is important as bacteria need moisture to breed, so this additional step will help to keep your spa healthy and germ free.

Regular cleaning of your filter is an important part of hot tub maintenance.  This will help avoid you having to replace the filter before it is absolutely necessary.

Use the Rapid Filter Cleaner as part of the regular cleaning routine or your Hot Tub and / or Pool Filter.  Rapid Filter Cleaner quickly removes debris, oils, body fats, and dirt using a unique no soak formula.  Use this fortnightly or more often if your Pool or Hot Tub sees heavy usage.

Application Instructions:

Use protective gloves and eye protection, and ensure that you are working in an open / well ventilated space.  Avoid use on windy days if using outside.

Remove the filter from the filter housing and rinse with fresh water to remove any loose matter.  Thoroughly spray the filter with Rapid Filter Cleaner taking care to penetrate filter leaves and veins with the product.  Leave the filter to stand for 15 minutes.  Rinse the filter thoroughly with fresh water from a hose pipe – foaming may occur so make sure that the filter is completely cleaned of all Rapid Filter Cleaner residue.  Heavily soiled filters may require a second application of Rapid Filter Cleaner.

General Precautions:

Dosing:
