hth Shock is a super fast powerful chlorine based shock treatment for spa water or pools. It is designed to kill almost all of the bacteria in your water. Used correctly it will give you water that is clean, safe and a pleasure to bathe in.
It is stabiliser-free and it helps avoid the problem of so called ‘chlorine-lock’. It achieves this by restoring the effectiveness of chlorine in an over-stabilised hot tub or pool.
Best used the day before bathing as it contains approximately 15% more chlorine than standard calcium hypochlorite.
Typically used alongside Active Oxygen to ensure clean and safe water, the action of shocking twice a week with this system will bring peace of mind.
When applying to your water, spread it evenly and keep the circulation running during the application process. Please also remember that hth shock should not be used when there are bathers in either your swimming pool or hot tub.
When you are ready to treat your water, it is important not to mix it with any other products and do not dissolve the superchlorinator before you use it.
